I met Sarah on Facebook through Emily(remember her?), and have enjoyed seeing her updates.
Sarah is a talented writer and has written numerous pieces. She has graciously offered to join the giveaway here this week.
“Fantasy has always been my favorite genre to write in, and I have been strongly influenced by classic writers of fantasy, such as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Lloyd Alexander. I was educated at home and started out my career by writing for homeschoolers. Facets of Fantasy differs from my other books in being aimed at the general Christian market rather than the homeschooling niche. In the past I’ve stuck to writing about teenagers, and Facets of Fantasy is the product of this focus on a YA audience. Recently I’ve branched out into writing works for adults, though I still enjoy creating teen lit as well.“ Sarah’s official website can be found here.
Facets of Fantasy is a delightful collection of teen novellas that explore Christian themes in a subtle and entertaining way. From Jurant’s stirring tale of a soul revived, to Taranui’s hilarious world where a literate few preserve the culture, these five imaginative stories offer great reading for parents and teens alike.
The Golden Belt of the Kings is a fated talisman. It grants ultimate power, but destroys all who touch it. Karl wants to find it. But he soon learns the Belt can surface in the grip of the most surprising people.
The Trouble with Taranui
In Palladia, if you’re born into the EC, you’re a lot better off than other people–most of the time. But Frank and Katia Vingo learn it isn’t so easy when the gangster who rules their city casts his eye on their new rog.
Jurant
Since Don’s sister died at their military school, his only aim in life is to not go back there. But when he is asked to return on a secret mission, Don finds something he never thought possible.
The Amulet of Renari
Violet thinks she knows better than to believe in magical creatures. When her friend Stuart tells her about the three races that fight for control of a fabled city, she thinks he’s nuts. But she very rapidly learns otherwise.
Millhaven Castle
Alyce is a Sherban, so when she goes to the castle of the worldly Falknor king, she doesn’t know what will happen. And she definitely doesn’t expect what she finds at Lord Timson’s strange ball.
Sarah has generously donated a copy of her book for this giveaway.

Hello, Sarah! Thanks for the chance to win a copy of your book- I’m looking forward to reading it!
I have lots of respect for writers who create works that are entertaining, but have deeper messages about life–along the lines of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Thanks for the introduction and I’ll go over and check her site out.
