My friend Leslie wrote a great article in light of the recent earthquake felt round the world. Are you prepared if a “Life-quake” occurs?
She is an awesome motivator and the motto of her blog is “Great performance yields great rewards.” I call her saleswoman of the year cause she can sweet talk a flea off a dog. Aren’t we all trying to sell something??? Pretty please stop on over and visit her! You can subscribe to her RSS feed or join her on twitter here. Definitely worth checking out!

My heart aches for those people. We are so blessed and we don’t even comprehend the scope of God’s provision in our lives. Despite the tragedy that has befallen those people- God is still God. We may not understand life’s quakes but we have a Lord who we can turn to and He will forsake us.
I hope I always keep my ears lifted towards the hills!
Will do!
Will check it out.
Are we prepared for a lifequake? I don’t think I am as much as I should be. When through one these past two years–still surviving and that’s what counts!
I would like to sweet talk the flea off of a dog, Diane! What a great word picture!
Happy Weekend,
Jen
Hi there Diane
I am flattered you and your friend Leslie resonate with the word I coined.
The term LifeQuake has been trademarked for quite some time in the print category. However, let me share with you my version of this word – it is not just a crisis. It is an awakening a person feels to the next level of their evolution. For some it comes through catastrophe and for others it is merely a birthing process with all the attendant birthing pains that consciousness brings. Feel free to go to my website,http://LifeQuake.com or LifeQuake.net for more information on how to willingingly make changes without being forced to.
I changed lifequake to life-quake. Sorry for my ignorance. :O)
I don’t know…I hope so.
It’s so sad when I think of how families are doing over there. Just trying to imagine my own children hurt or lost in the rubble somewhere is heartbreaking. i can’t imagine the pain over there right now.
It is so devastating! There seems to be no depth to human suffering. I cannot imagine what those parents and children are going through. God be with them all!
It’s a horrible thing in Haiti. I pray no more aftershocks occur. Will check out that blog. Thanks
Headed over there now.
I will head that way …and I am now following her on Twitter…
My heart is so heavy for these people…for the pain of each individual caught up in the aftermath of sheer chaos…
Headed over to take a peek.
