Think About it Thursdays

by Diane Estrella on October 15, 2009

Confucius (551 BC – 479 BC)

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.

Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses.

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others.

When anger rises, think of the consequences.

My favorite quote from your list is, "When anger rises, think of the consequences." That is so true in marriage and I try to remember things like that.

Thank you for inspiring thought.

When I get angry I always feel bad afterwards–it's never a good thing. Thanks for the reminder.

Good stuff! Where did you find it? I like the 2 graves one: you are always doing kind things for me! The banana bread has been awesome!
