WINNER SELECTED~~~KIM JUSTICE!
Learn with Lily and her friends just what it means to be beautiful in God’s eyes-inside and out!
In a society so focused on the idea that external beauty reigns supreme, it can be difficult for young girls to figure out what “true” beauty is all about. This unique and creative book for girls ages 7-11 answers the common questions girls ask during this often confusing and overwhelming stage in their lives in an inviting and conversational manner.
Filled with fun quizzes, imaginative activities, and cool illustrations, The Beauty Book offers cool, relevant information about everything from great hair styles to tattoos, from skin care to clothes, and much more. Above all, the message that God-confidence is beautiful is highlighted on each and every page.
My Review
Pimples, underarm hair, and B.O….yuk.
This is one of those books that I wish I had in my middle grade years. I thought the puberty changes my body went through were exclusive only to me. I was too shy and embarrassed to ask anyone the, “Is this normal” question. This book really does a wonderful job of giving girls information about what their bodies have been or will go through, but also accepting themselves where they are today. We are all uniquely and wonderfully made.
There are a lot of different areas covered in this book in regards to growing up, and also includes subjects such as tattoos, braces, piercings, hair removal, and brea$ts. The book is interactive with lines for the girls to write in their own thoughts and then go back to reflect on later.
A great book for every young girl to let her know that we are all made the same, but also uniquely different too, and we’re each perfect just the way we are.

I am sensing a call to mentor some of the young girls at our church. This would be a great resource. Thanks for sharing.
Love to recieve the book, the book nails on a point that is secondary in the minds of most girls, charm is decietful, beauty is vain., but a woman that fears the Lord shall forever be praised
Love these books. Hope I win!! My nieces would love these books as my daughter when she gets a little older.
This book looks fantastic. My daughter would enjoy it. Good luck with your contest!
I know a 12-year-old girl, who would love this book!
This book would be wonderful to go through with my 12 year old daughter! She is so beautiful but doesn't realize it because she feels awkward and odd being so very tall and skinny. She is built just like I was but all the other 12 & 13 year olds we know (even her 7 cousins) only come to her shoulder. But she has such a beautiful heart and sweet, giving spirit since she got saved that she just glows and everyone loves her! A book like this might help her see what I have been trying to teach her, that beauty is on the inside and comes from God!
This sounds like a good book for my granddaughters and my niece to read. It is hard for young girls growing up now and this may help and I always say "Whatever works!!" so this sounds like it would be perfect. Thank you for hosting this giveaway on a book that is on such an important subject!!
My daughter would absolutely love this book! She has been really curious lately so this would be perfect!
