I admit it, when I’m driving a lot of the time I go into a haze.
I zone out.
I’m on auto-pilot.
The glaze comes over my eyes and my mind wanders. I’ve traveled this road so many times and for so long, that I don’t really have to pay that close of attention to where I’m driving.
Just coasting along. No purpose in the journey, just gonna arrive…..
WHERE WAS I HEADING AGAIN??!?!?!
Aack!
How about your final destination? Ultimately, when this long drive is over, and you throw your car into “P” that one last time, do you know where your final parking spot will be?
Do you ever really think about it? Do you REALLY know where you’re heading?

Hey- am I headed to your house today?
That's why it's good advice to live in the "present".
Yes, I would never do well as a texting while driving guy–I am too busy looking at things along the way.
I hope you and the family have a nice New Year Diane.
I go on autopilot when I drive also
Have a happy New Years!
Thank you for the insightful post. 2011 was the first year that I really thought about direction in my life and I'm glad I did!!
Yep, I know where I am going to be parked for the final time–just hope not for awhile.
Happy new Year newest follower look forward to reading your posts http://everydayproductsandmore.blogspot.com/
Hey there…I've been doing a lot of thinking about where I'm headed…interesting you should do a post with the same question!
All the best to you and yours in 2012 Diane!
Happy New Year…
Cheers
I really don't. It's taken me all this time to realize it.
Thank Goodness, God knows!
I hope I know where I am going in a general way but I sure like surprises along the way–uh..good surprises I should say. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and congratulating me on my novel's release
Hopefully in the right direction most of the time!
I do that sometimes when driving too. As far as a direction, I have a general one, and am trusting the Lord to fill in the gaps. Happy New Year!
Hi Diane! Bumper-to-bumper traffic makes auto-pilot easy for me, but at times, I can be cruising along on a wide-open highway and still find myself daydreaming. What I want more than anything is to fulfill the purposes for which God has kept me upon this earth — to hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Nothing else really matters, and yet it's so easy to get caught up in what we think is important in the here and now. May God bless you in this exciting new year!
