Announcing the Happy New Year 2013 Giveaway Hop

Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer & Babs Book Bistro

January 1st – 7th 2013

:) Plus stick around! For anyone that’s interested, I have other giveaways going on that you can find at the top of my sidebar.  :)

About the Book

Vee Bell is certain of one irrefutable truth—her sister’s friend Sophie didn’t kill herself. She was murdered.

Vee knows this because she was there. Everyone believes Vee is narcoleptic, but she doesn’t actually fall asleep during these episodes: When she passes out, she slides into somebody else’s mind and experiences the world through that person’s eyes. She’s slid into her sister as she cheated on a math test, into a teacher sneaking a drink before class. She learned the worst about a supposed “friend” when she slid into her during a school dance. But nothing could have prepared Vee for what happens one October night when she slides into the mind of someone holding a bloody knife, standing over Sophie’s slashed body.

Vee desperately wishes she could share her secret, but who would believe her? It sounds so crazy that she can’t bring herself to tell her best friend, Rollins, let alone the police. Even if she could confide in Rollins, he has been acting distant lately, especially now that she’s been spending more time with Zane.

Enmeshed in a terrifying web of secrets, lies, and danger and with no one to turn to, Vee must find a way to unmask the killer before he or she strikes again.

I rarely remember my dreams but when I do they are usually nightmares and most of the time in color.

Pearl K January 1, 2013 at 7:51 pm

From time to time I remember my dream in my sleep. A lot of the dreams I remembered were kind of like movies. There were some strange occasion where my dreams foreshadow what was about to happen the next few days. Most of the time they are in color.

Kirsten W January 1, 2013 at 9:44 pm

I almost never remember my dreams :(

Lori January 1, 2013 at 10:29 pm

I do believe I dream in color as everything seems quite real! Sometimes I do remember my dreams-usually when they are frightening or very lovely.;) Sounds like a great book!!! Lori

Susan P January 1, 2013 at 10:45 pm

Half the time I remember my dreams. The more strange ones usually are the ones I remember. I’m pretty sure mine are in color – although my dad swears he dreams in black and white only!

BookAttict January 1, 2013 at 10:48 pm

I mostly dream in color. I usually wake up remembering my dreams, but if I don’t write it down right away, the dream kinda slips away.

Happy New Year & thanks for the amazing giveaway!

Some dreams I remember. Most of the time they’re the action ones. My dreams tend to be in black and white with splotches of color. For example, I was fishing in a black river with a shades of gray horizon in the sky, wearing all white, yet the fish was yellow.

I rarely remember my dreams, but when I do they’re pretty vivid and in color.

Charity U January 4, 2013 at 11:09 am

I don’t remember all my dreams, but occasional ones. And yes…so far as I can remember, I’m pretty sure they’re in color. Since I wore glasses for almost 10 years and only recently got contacts, they usually involve something like desperately trying to read a sign, but not able to since I forgot my glasses. SO frustrating! Or not being able to wake up…super heavy eyes…makes me lethargic just thinking about it.

Caroline January 4, 2013 at 11:31 am

Often, I remember my dreams as soon as I wake up but after a few minutes the details start to slip until I can’t remember most of them. I try to write them down if I have a pad and pencil handy. I’m pretty sure I dream in color. Lately my dreams have been really weird, I’m not sure why they’ve been so strange, though.

Joy F January 4, 2013 at 11:37 am

Angela January 5, 2013 at 4:08 pm

I don’t remember my dreams a lot. They are very vague. Usually it’s just the end that I remember the clearest. Sometimes, they are in color.

Laurent January 5, 2013 at 4:54 pm

My dreams are always in color and I remember them most of the time. When I wake up from a dream Is stay like 10 minutes on my bed trying to figure them out but, sometimes I don’t even remember that I had a dream I wake up normally and go to the bathroom and there is that I remember the dream I had. It is kind of confusing for me not to know I was dreaming when I woke up but a little bit later I remember my dream but, I guess is normal.

Audrey January 5, 2013 at 4:58 pm

I remember too many of my dreams, most of them are so vivid they are hard to forget! I am pretty sure I dream in color, but then again, it could just be my mind playing even more tricks on me.

Stacey V January 6, 2013 at 5:33 pm

Sometimes I do remember my dreams, but most of what I remember are just parts and pieces. Yes, my dreams are in color.

Bonnie Hilligoss January 7, 2013 at 6:09 pm

My dreams are in color, but I don’t remember them very long after waking up, hard as I try. Most of them are just strange and don’t make a lot of sense. One is where I am driving up a very steep road and the car falls over backwards. As a result, I really don’t like steep roads!

Deborah January 7, 2013 at 6:43 pm
